Elon Musk's 'baby mama' Ashley Clair shares more details about relationship with Tesla CEO; says: Things got weird between us after ...

Elon Musk’s former partner Ashley St. Clair has shared new details about her relationship with the billionaire, saying things became “weird” after she became pregnant with their son. In a series of TikTok videos, St. Clair spoke about being a single mother, her time in what she called the “Elon orbit,” and ongoing legal disputes involving child support and custody. St. Clair, who shares one-year-old son Romulus with Musk, said she initially believed Musk was supportive and encouraging about having children, but claimed his behavior changed after her pregnancy.

Ashley St. Clair says relationship changed after pregnancy

St. Clair said she first met Elon Musk while working as a MAGA influencer and was drawn to him partly because he encouraged her to have more children.“At that point in my life, because I’m involved in MAGA and the right wing and I’m already a single mom, the chances of me getting married and the white picket fence and the white dress, I believed that was out the window for me because I was already ‘stained’ as a single mom,” she said in a TikTok video posted on May 15.She recalled Musk telling her, “You should have kids, my only limited resource is time,” appealed to her because she wanted more children and financial stability. In the video, St. Clair denied claims that she was trying to benefit financially from the relationship. “No, it’s more like, my kids are always going to be taken care of,” she said, adding that if she wanted to “marry for money,” she could have done so earlier. However, she claimed the relationship changed after she became pregnant.“No one’s going to believe me, but I swear he was so much more normal before I got pregnant,” St. Clair said. “His demeanor was normal. I know I’m going to get roasted for this, but in private, he was funny.”

Child support and custody dispute continues

St. Clair publicly revealed in February 2025 that Musk was the father of her child. At the time, she wrote on X, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.”Musk later responded to claims that he had reduced child support payments. In a March 2025 post on X, he wrote, “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”St. Clair later accused Musk of refusing a paternity test and reducing support payments as punishment for “disobedience.” The dispute later expanded into a custody battle. Earlier this year, Musk said he would seek full custody of Romulus after St. Clair shared social media posts supporting the transgender community.According to St. Clair, the legal battle has become overwhelming. “I’m in three different courts,” she said. “I’m just so sick of this and being painted as like I’m the one who’s like combative and chaotic when I’m in three different courts and I have people following me all the time.”St. Clair also said she no longer wants to be known only as “Elon Musk’s baby mama.”
