CHENNAI: A man hacked his wife to death after a quarrel at their home in Adambakkam and then died by suicide on Tuesday, police said.The deceased were identified as Nagalakshmi, 42, and her husband Subramanian, 52, residents of Thillaiganga Nagar in Nanganallur.Nagalakshmi was an social media influencer with over 3 lakh followers.Police said Nagalakshmi ran silk saree outlets and was the sole breadwinner. Subramanian was unemployed, and the couple reportedly argued often over financial issues.On Tuesday, Subramanian sent a message to his younger son, asking him to return home. When the son reached the house, he found his mother dead with bleeding wounds. In another room, Subramanian was also found dead. Police sent the bodies for postmortem.
