NEW DELHI: Mocking INDIA bloc’s allegation of “vote-chori” through SIR, the BJP on Monday accused the opposition of hypocrisy as it pointed to poll results in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, two of the states where electoral rolls were revised, and said Congress has no problem with them as they went against the governing party.“In reality, the existence of INDIA bloc is being wiped out as people are no longer voting for its constituents,” BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, adding that some of its members, including Uddhav Thackeray, did not even bother to come to the venue of the alliance meeting on Monday and instead attended it through videoconferencing. “None of these political parties has any presence on the ground…,” Patra added.BJP noted that while the venue of INDIA bloc meetings has shrunk to a hall of the Constitution Club, it is the rebellion within the TMC which is being talked about everywhere. In Tamil Nadu, DMK is shouting itself hoarse that there was no vote-chori but “ally-chori”, he said, referring to Congress’s decision to dump its old ally and join TVK’s government.
