HYDERABAD: A 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by a man who had reportedly been harassing her after she rejected his love proposal in Jadcherla town of Mahabubnagar on Saturday.According to police and preliminary reports, the victim was identified as Y Vaishnavi, a receptionist at a private school in Jadcherla. Police said the accused had allegedly been following and harassing her for some time in the name of love. On Saturday, Vaishnavi reportedly got down from a bus and was walking when the accused attacked her with a knife in full public view.The attacker allegedly slit her throat, leaving her critically injured. Locals immediately rushed to the spot and shifted her to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
